ABOUT J.P. OVENS

J.P. (John Paul) Ovens is an American composer/instrumentalist born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. His compositional style draws elements of neo-classical, jazz, and contemporary music as he constructs eccentric scores for multimedia projects. Ovens finished his undergraduate studies in classical composition at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and currently resides in Valencia, Spain where he is pursuing a master’s degree in scoring for film, television, and video games at Berklee College of Music.
